Savour a taste of Lebanon in the heart of Halifax
ABOUT THE LEBFEST
Since 2001, the annual Halifax Lebanese Festival has been rated as one of the most successful and vibrant summer events in the city of Halifax. Held at the Olympic Community Center on Hunter Street, the Festival offers a famously deliciously array of authentic Lebanese food, live entertainment, performances, and various activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Our successes have come because of the volunteers who take time out of their busy schedules to take care of everything from planning to setting up to preparing the food that we enjoy so very much, it is a testimony of the things that can be accomplished when a group of great people is able to work together towards a common goal.
2020 COVID-19 Initiative
The unprecedented outbreak of COVID-19 has led us to cancel the 2020 Halifax Lebanese Festival that would have been taking place on July 2 – 5th. While we may not be able to gather, we can still share.
This year, the Halifax Lebanese Festival is committed to delivering 2000 meals throughout the HRM to support our first responders, healthcare workers, charities and communities in need.
We believe that providing our most popular authentic dishes to those in need and those who serve our province is the best way we can show our gratitude and do our part to give back.
We thank all of you for your dedication to the community and look forward to sharing these festivities with you in the near future.
